Since this weekend the entry deadline is officially over. We take this as a reason to take a look at it.

We are happy about a total of 106 entries! Among them are 16 entries according to the PZM regulations, which are allowed to start with us this year.

Again we can look forward to an exciting fight for the crown of the Lausitz between the 2 "regulars" Matthias Kahle (DEU) and Anders Gröndal (NOR). This time both teams will start with a Škoda Fabia Rally2 Evo.
But also many other international starters enrich the Lausitz Rally 2022.
We can once again welcome Erik Cais (CZE) in the Ford Fiesta Rally2. But we can also look forward to Filip Mares (CZE), Adam Brezik (CZE) and Daniel Chwist (POL), each in the Škoda Fabia Rally2 Evo, Tom Kristensson (SWE) and Martin Vlcek (CZE) in the Hyundai i20 N Rally2 as well as Kris Rosenberger (AUT) in the VW Polo R5 as starters. 
Fabio Schwarz (DEU) will also start this year in the RC2 category with a Ford Fiesta Rally2.
However, the biggest surprise for the 25th Lausitz Rally might have been the nomination of Škoda Motorsport!
The Czech factory team wants to enrich the starting field of the Lausitz Rally with their new Škoda Fabia RS Rally2.
At the wheel of the new car from Mlada Bolislav will be none other than WRC-2 star Andreas Mikkelsen (MCO).

But also in the other classes we are looking forward to some "new" faces but also to many familiar teams. Be it the team around Raphael Ramonat (DEU), this time in a Subaru Imprezza, Dirk Richter (DEU) in his Mitsubishi Lancer or Petri Reinikainen (FIN), who we already welcomed several times.

This select and international starting field promises an exciting and high-class fight for the 25th crown of the Lausitz.
